This site is a personal website run by Ivan Novikov. These terms are short because the site is simple: it publishes writing and pictures, and it lets people leave comments.
Using the site
Read anything you like. No account is needed to read, and nothing here is behind a paywall.
Comments
Signing in with Google lets you comment. Keep it civil and on the subject. Anything that is harassment, spam, someone else's private information, or plainly illegal will be removed, and the account that posted it may be blocked. That judgement is the site owner's alone and needs no appeal process, because this is a personal site and not a public forum.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it here you allow it to be displayed on this site alongside the post it answers.
The writing and the pictures
Everything published here — the text, the drawings, the photographs, the diagrams — belongs to its author. Quote it, link to it, argue with it. Republishing a whole piece as your own is not allowed. Code shown in a post may be used freely.
Availability and accuracy
The site is provided as it is. It may be down, a post may be wrong, and something described here may have changed since it was written. Nothing published here is professional advice, and acting on it is your own decision.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the site owner is not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site or anything read on it.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them.
